HERsteria: bold, brilliant and BRIT-made
Our thanks to The BRIT School Applied Theatre department for inviting us to HERsteria, the Year 13 final major performance on Thursday 1st May.

Devised by the students, with direction and script by Lucy Harris, HERsteria explored the objectification of women through history and the lasting impact on identity today. It was powerful, thoughtful and full of energy, combining acting, dance and film with live audience participation (mercifully, no one in our row was picked on!).
With the performance taking place on May Day, a date long associated with protest, new beginnings and celebration, it was a fitting and inspiring way to start the month.
Congratulations to all the performers and creative team and and thank you again to BRIT for their warm welcome.

The BRIT School is the leading performing and creative arts school in the UK and is completely free to attend. Its mission is to train and educate young people for future careers in performance, creative arts and related industries.
