Kairos Community celebrates at Buckfast

As part of our 25th anniversary celebrations, thirty-nine members of Kairos Community Trust – residents, staff, trustees, volunteers, family and friends – returned to Buckfast Abbey for a long weekend of retreat and community (23-26 June). This was our fourth visit to the Benedictine abbey, situated at the foot of Dartmoor in the beautiful Devon landscape.

Our thanks to everyone who made the weekend such a success: the Abbot and all at Buckfast Abbey for their hospitality, particularly Fr Dominic and Br Columba; Nick, Kenny and Angie for all the delicious meals; alternative therapists Lorraine, Eileen, Simon, Kat and Jaime; Denis and Tim for driving; and the Aisling project for the loan of their minibus.
