Our thanks to the Queen Mother’s Clothing Guild for fifteen years of support
Kairos Community Trust extends our deepest thanks to the Queen Mother’s Clothing Guild (QMCG) for their continued generosity, providing much-needed bedding and clothing for our residents. This incredible charity, run entirely by volunteers, has been working with us for fifteen years to support those most in need.
This year, Kairos support workers Steven Polatajko and Louise Brady attended the Guild’s annual Packing Week at St James’ Palace, where donations are sorted and prepared for charities across the UK. Reflecting on the event, Steve reflected that, “the QMCG doesn’t just give clothes; they give dignity, respect, love, and hope – vital parts of the journey to a better life. It was an amazing experience and a beautiful cause.”
Kairos’ Jason O’Reilly and James Crawley later collected the donations, describing the day as “well-organised and professional” and a privilege to attend.
We are immensely grateful to the QMCG for their ongoing support, which continues to make a real difference for our residents. Our thanks, once again, to everyone involved.
