Connection and recovery at Forward Trust’s National Reunion

On Saturday 24 January 2026, a group of 10 current and 4 former Kairos residents attended The Forward Trust’s National Reunion in London.

Kairos support worker Frank McDonald, who was among the event’s attendees, described it as an “inspiring day”, reflecting on the impact of seeing so many people living well in recovery.  It was particularly powerful to see residents reconnect with former prison staff, speak openly and express gratitude for the journeys they have made.
