Enjoying spring sunshine at Hampton Court Palace
Linden Grove’s residents and staff made the most of the March sunshine with a visit to Hampton Court Palace through the Historic Royal Palaces Community Access Scheme.
The group were made very welcome by Historic Royal Palaces, with a dedicated space to sit down together over lunch and time to explore the palace at their own pace. From the Tudor courtyards of Henry VIII to the gardens and maze, there was plenty to take in at Hampton Court. The chance to try on period-style clothing also added something a bit different to the day.
This visit took place through the Community Access Scheme, with Linden Grove Manager Vincent Mahe registered as a community group leader. Each attendee also received a ticket to visit another Historic Royal Palace, with several residents already planning a group trip to the Tower of London.
We are very grateful to Historic Royal Palaces for their welcome and support and are already planning a return visit!
