Farewell, Tim, and thank you
Kairos Community Trust says a fond farewell to Tim Penrice, who retired on 17th October after 20 years of service, writes Mossie Lyons. Tim has been a counsellor and group facilitator and, for the past 15 years, managed the Garden Day Programme, which he gave life to, shaped and loved throughout.
Tim is deeply passionate about his work and has all the traits that come with that: energy, drive, resilience and a selfless investment in the care and belief in the value of each person. He lives life to the full. It has been a pleasure to work with such an enthusiastic, intelligent, skilled and empathetic human being.
Thank you, Tim, for your dedication, your endlessly curious outlook on life, your occasional pushiness. But, above all, thank you for your commitment to and love of Kairos and the people we are privileged to journey alongside. Your legacy will endure.
I am glad we will see you once a week to facilitate the Tuesday evening Nunhead Psychotherapy Group. Otherwise, enjoy retirement. I hope you now get to see a bit of cricket and rugby.
