Freddie dives from 12,000 feet

Last Saturday (26th July), friend of Kairos Freddie completed his first skydive: a 12,000-foot jump at Headcorn Aerodrome in Kent.

He had been counting down the days until he turned 16, when he would finally be old enough to take on the challenge.  Two years ago, Freddie made his fundraising debut with a 160-foot bungee jump that raised over £1,100 in sponsorship.

This time, his skydive has already raised £1,641 from 31 donations.  The funds will support the Lourdes pilgrimage, a journey shared by many in Kairos.

Having grown up around Kairos, Freddie has been part of community life in many different ways over the years.  We say a huge thank you and congratulations for his courage, determination and generosity.
