Hand-over of our new house in Brent
The rebuilding of our third move-on house in Brent is now complete and the official handover took place on Tuesday, 17 December. With support and materials supplied by the building industry’s charity CRASH and its patrons, and working to plans by Child Graddon Lewis Architects, JMB Construction Ltd has transformed the three-bed semi into an 8-bed, 5-bathroom move-on house. It completes a row of three neighbouring Kairos supported houses that together can now accommodate a total of 20 people.
Present on Tuesday were the CRASH team led by CEO Francesca Roberts, with projects manager Niamh McCann and communications manager Becky Holt; JMB Construction’s managing director John Bailey; CGL partner Simon Child and CGL architect Moni Rahman, who has worked on the project throughout; Paul Carter, chairman of the Kairos Trustees and Kairos director Mossie Lyons. They were joined by enthusiastic residents.
Our thanks once again to CRASH trustees and patrons and everyone who has made this possible.
