Once again, Kairos says a heart-felt “thank-you” to Irene McLaughlin and her friends. Irene’s now-famous annual coffee-and-cake morning in Dublin recently raised €1,500 towards the annual Kairos trip to Lourdes. This year, some 40 men and women from Kairos Community will travel with the sick pilgrims on the Oblate pilgrimage in September. Thank you, everyone!
The first hive inspection of the year at Head Office took place on Thursday. It was a glorious sunny spring day, which the bees seemed to enjoy, too, as they buzzed back and forth to the hive, laden with golden pollen. Our thanks go to Mick Coen from the Bromley branch of the Kent Beekeepers, […]
The refurbishment of our Move-on house in Norbury, London SW16, purchased last year, has been completed and it is now home to five men and women in recovery. The Kairos maintenance team contributed greatly to the work which has resulted in a fifth bedroom, a new bathroom, kitchen, dining-sitting room.
Kairos Community Trust welcomes Giam-Pierro Mozzi, who joins the Supported Housing team part-time. The 10-strong team works with more than 170 men and women living in 30 Kairos move-on houses across six London boroughs.

So ‘Farewell’, ‘Thank you’, ‘Welcome’ and ‘Congratulations’ are all in order. Welcome, Paul Carter! Our new Chairman is a familiar […]
Kairos arrived at 22 Linden Grove, Nunhead, 20 years ago this month. The building was a wreck but staff and volunteers (like our friend pictured here), managed to make it habitable by 26 March, when Fr John Kitchen, Tony Walsh and six residents moved here from Stonhouse Street in Clapham. In the 20 years since […]
Kairos has a new move-on flat – at the Oval. It’s home to three Kairos residents who are heading towards independent living, through different forms of training. They’ve all relocated from regular move-on houses in South London and, although support workers visit regularly, it’s support with a light-touch. “Three’s a good number and the flat […]
It all started in 2016… Sophie Hanrahan and the CGL team on their first visit to Limesdale Gardens. Brent Council has granted Kairos Community Trust planning permission to extend our move-on house at 16 Limesdale Gardens. This will enable us to add four more bedrooms and build a single-storey extension at the rear to enlarge […]
