Postcard from Lourdes, 2022

Forty people from Kairos joined the annual Oblate pilgrimage to Lourdes from 17 to 22 September, writes Mossie Lyons, Kairos director. We helped with wheelchair-assisted pilgrims and took an active role in all other activities organised over the five days.

As in previous years, there was a wonderful sense of unity, camaraderie and joy in the group. This was the 11th year we have travelled to Lourdes. Such is the draw to return that many have been many times; two, in fact, have been on all 11 trips. Ten people joined us in Lourdes for the first time.
