Our thanks to Queen Mother’s Clothing Guild

Kairos Community Trust thanks the Queen Mother’s Clothing Guild (QMCG) for its continued generosity in donating new clothing, towels and bedding to our residents.
Run entirely by volunteers, the Guild is one of the UK’s oldest charities, donating over 35,000 items in 2024 to 53 organisations across the country.
This year, Kairos support workers Jason and Rob were invited to the Guild’s annual Packing Week at St James’s Palace, where donations are sorted, counted and packed for distribution.
Jason said it was a great opportunity to meet with other charities and suppliers and to learn more about the Guild’s long history and development. “We were both shown around different rooms in the Palace by very friendly and highly knowledgeable members of staff,” he said. “The whole morning had a really welcoming feel, and it was lovely to see that Kairos was well known and respected by everyone at QMCG.”
Jason and Rob also spoke with their hosts about how Kairos has developed in recent years, reflecting on our shared commitment to supporting people in need.
Our thanks to everyone at the Queen Mother’s Clothing Guild for their continued generosity and support.
