Faithful friends on the road to Lourdes
\”This is a case of nine in a row to help ten in a row,\” writes Kairos director Mossie Lyons. \”In 2010, 10 men from Kairos went to Lourdes for the first time. We met Irene McLaughlin there and she pledged her support to the group and, true to her word, with a group of faithful friends in Dublin has raised some £14,000 over the past nine years.
\”This year, 24 men and 16 women will travel to Lourdes on 13 September to work in the hospital with the sick guests of the Oblate pilgrimage. Last Thursday Irene, her husband John and those still faithful friends raised £1,400 towards that trip with another epic coffee morning. Thank you, Irene!\”
