Kairos at Lourdes 2019

The annual Kairos trip to Lourdes to assist with the Oblate pilgrimage of the Anglo-Irish Province took place from 13-19 September. Forty of us travelled to the foothills of the Pyrenees, undeterred by the Metro strike when we changed trains and stations in Paris. Helping the assisted guests in the Accueil (hospital) was the same hard but rewarding work as usual. All the Kairos people made an incredible contribution throughout the five days and there was a wonderful bond among the group, a sense of friendship and working together. – Mossie Lyons
