Swarm catching, honey harvesting, colony inspections and queen spotting are just a few of the exciting things our work placement students got to experience this past week. It was a joy to watch a new generation of potential apprentice beekeepers so enthralled and eager to learn about the life of the bees and their importance to our existence.
We’re all very proud of what they have achieved this week. Our thanks to everyone who participated – and to Eden Park High School for making it possible.
