CQC inspection confirms ‘good’ rating for Bethwin Road

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) report for the inspection of Bethwin Road residential rehab on 19 February was published this week, writes Mossie Lyons.

Congratulations and well done to the team at Bethwin on the overall rating of ‘good’ for the service. The ‘outstanding’ rating for care is reassuring, while the inspection has also highlighted areas where we can strengthen our implementation of processes.

The running of a care home is a collective effort, rooted in a commitment to high standards, reflective practice and the value and pride we place on the service we offer to residents and clients: safe, effective, responsive, caring and well-led.

Paul Carter, Chair of Trustees, said: “It is no surprise that ‘caring’ was judged as outstanding, which will be the view not just of those using the service currently, but also of the many men and women who have used Bethwin Road over many years.”
