CRASH course in supported housing: Mossie Lyons with builder John Bailey (JMB Construction Ltd) and architect Moni Rahman (Child Graddon Lewis Architects)

Francesca Roberts, CEO of CRASH, the building industry’s charity, and Kairos director Mossie Lyons met at the Burnt Oak Move-on houses yesterday. They were on site to receive a delivery of building materials donated by CRASH patron Forterra: Thermalite blocks, Fenlite Blocks, concrete blocks and engineering bricks. These materials will be used to extend one of the three Kairos houses on this road. It will provide residents with three extra bedrooms, two bathrooms, a new kitchen, dining and seating area. Other CRASH patrons – Knauf, Lords, Hanson and Buildbase – have donated cavity wall insulation, building sand, cement, and building bricks for the same project

“CRASH has been involved in this project from the beginning with the concept, design and engineering work and now these wonderfully generous donations of materials. Thank you, CRASH and all your patrons. This will make a real difference to the lives of men and women in recovery.”
