Irene’s cups and cakes raise €1,622
Our thanks to Irene McLaughlin in Dublin, who again this year welcomed a bevvy of supporters into her home for a coffee and cake morning that lasted well into the afternoon. They raised €1,622 towards the annual Kairos trip to Lourdes with the sick pilgrims on the Oblate pilgrimage in September. Thank you all!
Elaine runs a personal best for Kairos
Our congratulations and thanks go to Elaine Anderson-Wright, who today ran the Brighton Marathon for Kairos, for the second year in a row. She completed the 26 miles and 385 yards in a time of 4 hrs 29 mins and 18 secs – a whole 25 minutes faster than last year and a personal best. […]

Linden Grove Annexe opens
Kairos opened the Annexe in Nunhead this week. The four-bedroom house will act as an extension to the John Kitchen Centre in Linden Grove. Annexe residents will attend the Garden Day Programme, a 12-week post-detox rehabilitation course, and they will be supported from Linden Grove. Another Kairos Community Trust development.
Elaine’s second Marathon for Kairos

Kenneth Brennan RIP
Kenneth Brennan (1945-2017) died peacefully on Saturday 28 January after a short respiratory illness. Born in Dublin, Ken settled in London after serving in the British Army, in the Congo and Cyprus.
