Connecting through drama at Linden Grove

We were delighted to welcome Outside Edge Theatre Company to Linden Grove abstinence-support hostel this Wednesday (17 June), where residents threw themselves into a drama workshop with enthusiasm.

Around 20 participants joined the session, where workshop facilitator Chloe used a range of interactive activities to explore communication and connection.  Through exercises involving eye contact, giving and receiving compliments and physical mirroring, residents were encouraged to think about the different ways we communicate with each other: not only through words but through body language, presence and attention.

Residents embraced the activities and approached the workshop with openness, helping to create a positive and supportive atmosphere.

Our thanks to Chloe and everyone at Outside Edge for joining us at Linden Grove and for delivering such a thoughtful and engaging workshop.
