Kairos goes to Lourdes, for the eighth time

On 16 September, 31 Kairos men and women set out for Lourdes on the annual pilgrimage with the Oblates from the Anglo-Irish Province. The Kairos group spent the week helping more than 100 assisted guests in the hospital there. “This was one of those times when words fail to describe an experience,” says Mossie Lyons. “Special, extraordinary, the sense of camaraderie and togetherness… this was the eighth year we have been but it was as fresh and affecting as the first. We are already planning the ninth!”
