Postcard from Lourdes, 2023

The annual trip to Lourdes to assist with the Oblate pilgrimage of the Anglo-Irish Province took place from 16^th to 22^nd September this year.  Thirty nine people from Kairos travelled to the foothills of Pyrenees in France, assisting with everything from helping guests in the hospital and wheelchair-assisted pilgrims, to night duty and security.

Mossie Lyons said, “From the point of view of us as a group, it’s such a bonding experience – there’s a great sense of camaraderie, well-being and positive outlook, and that beautiful feeling of togetherness.  Thanks to all who helped in any way – who prepared beforehand, for all the hard work in Lourdes, and to all who fundraised for the trip over the year.”
